What is the Élan Lumière Laser?

The Élan Lumière Laser is our signature fractional laser resurfacing treatment. It delivers thousands of microscopic beams of light into the skin, treating a fraction of the surface at a time while leaving the surrounding skin intact. This prompts your skin to shed damaged, pigmented cells and rebuild fresh collagen, so you heal faster and see beautiful, natural-looking results.

Three strengths, tailored to you

Lumière Glow

A gentle refresh for radiance and tone, with just a day or two of pinkness. It's ideal as a first laser experience, before an event, or as a monthly ritual.

Lumière Renew

Deeper correction for sun spots, uneven tone, texture and fine lines. Expect three to five days of redness and light flaking.

Lumière Resurface

Our most transformative option, for deeper lines, acne scars and significant texture. Expect five to seven days of redness, swelling and peeling.

What to expect

Your consultation. We'll assess your skin, discuss your goals and create your personalized plan. For some skin types, we'll recommend a test spot and a few weeks of skin preparation first.

Your treatment. We apply a numbing cream for your comfort. Treatment takes 30 to 75 minutes, depending on the strength and areas treated. You'll feel warmth and a light prickling sensation.

Afterward. Your skin will feel warm, like a mild sunburn. Over the following days, you may notice tiny dark dots and a bronzed, sandpaper-like texture as damaged pigment rises to the surface and gently flakes away.

Your results. Radiance appears within one to two weeks, and collagen continues to build for three to six months. Most clients see their best results with a series of three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart.

Is it painful?

Most clients find it very comfortable. We apply a numbing cream beforehand, and you'll feel warmth and light prickling during treatment.

How much downtime is there?

It depends on your strength: one to two days for Glow, three to five for Renew, and five to seven for Resurface.

Is it safe for all skin types?

The Lumière Laser can be tailored to a wide range of skin tones. For deeper skin tones and melasma, we use a careful protocol that includes skin preparation and a test spot.

When is the best time of year for laser treatment?

Fall and winter are ideal, with less sun exposure and more time to heal. It can be done year-round with diligent sun protection.

Can I combine it with other treatments?

Yes. It pairs beautifully with the Élan Reset Facial, and with injectables when timed correctly. We'll plan the ideal sequence at your consultation.

Can you treat areas other than the face?

Yes. The neck, chest and hands can be added to any face treatment.
